Privacy Policy
How Falcon Unmanned Systems collects, uses and protects information through this website, our data uploads and our drone operations.
Last updated: November 3, 2026
1. Who we are
Falcon Unmanned Systems ("Falcon", "we", "us") provides autonomous drone dock operations, aerial data capture and data processing from Dyer, Indiana, for clients across the United States. This policy covers falconunmannedsystems.com, the information you send us, and data we handle while delivering our services.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you contact us, request a quote or upload data, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, company, project details, site location and any message or files you send.
Information collected automatically. Our website is hosted by Squarespace. When you visit, standard technical data may be collected, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site and the date and time of your visit.
Project and aerial data. When we perform work for a client, we capture and process imagery, LiDAR point clouds, GNSS logs and related data for the client's site. This data is handled under our agreement with that client.
3. How we use information
- To respond to inquiries, prepare quotes and communicate about projects
- To plan, fly, process and deliver the services a client has requested
- To receive, organize and confirm files sent to us
- To operate, secure and improve our website and services
- To meet legal, regulatory, insurance and FAA obligations
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use client project data for advertising.
4. Client project data
Raw captures and deliverables are stored on Falcon-controlled, on-site storage rather than a public cloud, and access is limited to staff and contractors who need it to complete the work. Ownership, use and retention of project data and deliverables are set by the agreement with each client. If you have questions about a specific project, contact your Falcon project lead.
5. Aerial capture and privacy
We fly to collect data about sites, structures and terrain, not to observe people. We plan missions around the client's site, follow FAA rules and applicable state and local law, and avoid capturing people and private property beyond what the mission requires. Imagery may still incidentally show people, vehicles or neighboring property. On request, and where practical, we will blur or remove identifiable people, faces or license plates from imagery we control. To make a request, use the contact details below.
6. How we share information
- Service providers who host our website, email and systems, under appropriate confidentiality obligations
- Our clients, when the data was captured or processed for them
- Partners or subcontractors who help deliver a project, only as needed for that project
- Legal and safety reasons, when required by law, regulation, the FAA or legal process, or to protect rights and safety
- Business transfers, as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy
7. Cookies and analytics
Squarespace uses cookies and similar technologies to run the site, remember preferences and measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some site features may not work as intended without them.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections for uploads, access controls and on-site storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Retention
We keep inquiry and contact information for as long as needed to respond and maintain business records. Project data is kept for the period set by the client agreement, or as required by law, insurance or regulation, and is then deleted or returned.
10. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you marketing messages. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.
11. Children
This website is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
12. Other websites
Our site links to third-party sites, such as 3D viewers, partner companies and social media. Their privacy practices are their own, so please review their policies.
